I Appreciate The Muppets

This post was inspired by a t-shirt I saw on theonion.com, "I Appreciate The Muppets On A Much Deeper Level Than You Do". Although I don't endorse the content on The Onion , I find some of it to be pretty hillarious. The t-shirt I saw made me think a little...are muppets as culturally relavent as they once were? Where do they fit into the landscape of national politics? How do you clean a muppet? What the hell is Gonzo anyway? If a muppet falls in the forest does it make a sound? I'm too tired to ask any more muppet questions now, and I know I will regret this post tomorrow...
